1. Why Returns Are Not Applicable for Custom Products
Every ALLUKRAFT product is built to order. From the moment your order is confirmed, our team begins:
- Custom cutting — aluminium profiles and glass are cut to your exact site measurements
- Custom coating — powder coating (plain, textured, or wood-look) is applied in your chosen colour and finish
- Custom hardware — fittings, brackets, hinges, and mounting systems are selected and assembled per your design
- Custom glass processing — toughening, lamination, frosting, or back-painting is done per your specifications
Because every item is unique to your project, it cannot be restocked, resold, or repurposed for another customer. Therefore, returns due to change of mind, change of design preference, or order cancellation after production has started are not possible.
2. When Returns / Replacements ARE Accepted
Returns and replacements are accepted only in the following cases:

3. How to Report a Defect — Step-by-Step Process
- Inspect on delivery — Check the product carefully at the time of delivery or installation. Note any visible issues immediately.
- Report within 48 hours — Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs and a written description of the defect.
- Our team inspects — Our quality team will review the photos and, if needed, schedule a site visit to verify the issue.
- Resolution within 7–15 working days — Once the defect is confirmed, we will either repair the product on-site or take it back for re-manufacturing. Repaired or new product will be delivered and installed within 7–15 working days depending on the scope.
4. What Is NOT Covered
The following situations are not eligible for return, replacement, or refund:
- Change of mind after order confirmation or production start
- Colour or design preference change after manufacturing
- Damage caused during customer-side handling, transport, or third-party installation
- Normal wear and tear after installation
- Damage from improper use, modification, or exposure to conditions beyond product specifications
- Minor variations in colour shade (±5%) due to batch differences in powder coating — this is standard in the industry
- Glass micro-scratches visible only under specific light angles — inherent to toughened glass manufacturing
5. Refund Policy
Since all products are custom-made:
- Before production starts: Full refund minus any design/engineering charges already incurred
- After production starts: No refund — material has been cut, coated, and processed to your specifications
- Manufacturing defect: No refund needed — we repair or replace at our cost. If repair and replacement are both not possible (extremely rare), a full refund will be processed within 15 working days
6. Cancellation Policy
- Before production: You may cancel your order and receive a full refund (minus any design/survey charges)
- After production has started: Cancellation is not possible as materials have been custom-processed
- Production typically begins within 2–3 working days of order confirmation and advance payment
7. Products Covered Under This Policy
This policy applies to all ALLUKRAFT custom-manufactured products:
- Aluminium Pergolas (system-fit, profile, retractable, glass skylight, iron)
- Glass Railings (balcony, staircase, terrace — frameless and framed)
- Aluminium Profile Louvers (ceiling louvers, elevation/facade rafters)
- Glass Shower Partitions (frameless and aluminium profile-framed)
- All associated hardware, fittings, glass, and coating work

This policy is governed by the laws of India. For any disputes, the jurisdiction shall be Hyderabad, Telangana. ALLUKRAFT reserves the right to update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
